The Golden Ratio, or Golden Section represents the proportion of one part of an object to another. It is approximately 1 to 1.618 and is represented by the Greek symbol Φ (Phi).
Objects with proportions equal to Phi are the most beautiful. Phi can be found in the natural world. For thousands of years, Artists and architects have been producing attractive designs based on the Golden Ratio.
